If I ever need an intervention in my life (possibly inspired by this classic scene from How I Met Your Mother), I’m pretty sure it’ll be because I wear this skirt way too much. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for buying basics and cost-per-wear and all that jazz. However, sometimes it’s so hard to stand in front of my wardrobe and feel inspired by the sea of neutrals staring back at me! I feel like I have a lot of shopping to do until I reach that coveted idea of the ‘perfect’ wardrobe, if that even exists.
Anyway, on to the rest of my outfit! There comes a time in one’s life when you have to succumb and wear sneakers, and today was just one of those occasions. I never even knew that I had these babies until today, but the advantages of sharing a shoe size with your mum is that your collection effectively doubles. These took me from the State Library to the shops painlessly (a rare occurrence for me, sadly enough), so I’ll probably be claiming them as my own for the time being!
In other news, I feel like I have to address the elephant in the room and explain why my blog has been so quiet lately. Like always, a pileup of uni work and lack of inspiration are basically the reasons why I’ve been MIA! I should probably get my organisational act together soon, but now I’m curious. If you’re a blogger, what works for you? Does a posting calendar keep you in check, or do you just blog things whenever the mood strikes?
